...in loving memory...

Ok, back to weddingness.

DG and I had the odd realization over the New Year's holiday that holy cow we're getting married!  3.5 months.  Our big items are all in place, but being that we are type A perfectionist, insanely concerned with the details, and way too imaginative for our own good....we have some SERIOUS work to do.  In fact, at this point, I find myself trying to accomplish at least one or two tasks every day.  And we haven't even started the projects.  (God help me!)

My mommy is traveling to Nashville as we speak to spend the holiday weekend with me and my girls.  Shopping, first gown fitting, and much more are on the books.  I'm excited!

Anyway, back to my point.  Considering Grandma's very recent death...and more than that, the fact that she just meant so much to me...I wanted to do something to pay tribute to her.  Something personal, for me, and not crazy obvious.  She was my friend.  The sadness is not even so much in the fact that she died as it is that I just miss her.  Her spirit was infectious.  And I liked hanging out with her.

So yeah, one of my coworkers brought this idea to my attention.  Oddly enough, she spotted it in the People magazine featuring the wedding of that Joanas brother. (Please try not to judge me.)  I've scoured the internet in search of the photo that appears in that issue to no avail. I definitely prefer that look to any other I've seen from other brides who've used this concept. You get the idea here, though.

I love it.  I think it will be a really nice way to remember her.  Now to find a charm that I like...
