For now, I'm excited because DG and the future sisters-in-law/bridesmaids are going on a mini camping trip here in a few hours. We're leaving all things wedding behind and getting away from the pressure for a minute. It's ok. We're allowed. My mommy and daddy were here last weekend and worked like slaves helping us complete projects. I cannot WAIT to show you some of this stuff. Looks exactly like it did in my head...and that is such a great feeling. I couldn't say thanks enough...to them, to my MOH, to my soon-to-be sisters, even to DG. Everyone has been so anxious and willing to help us craft this wonderful event and it is going to be everything we ever hoped for.
I'm excited! Let the countdown begin. Cause this is about to be my life...
....except skinnier, since DG's lost the equivalent of a small child since then and I've at least lost the equivalent of a cat....or something. Ok good.

I just found your site... and I can't get over this. I'm in Nashville, getting married in October - as we've found out, the most popular month to get married in Nashville. Looked and looked and called and looked some more for outdoor venues. I always have this vision of on outdoor BBQ for a wedding. While the guests waited for the B & G to finish pictures, they could play Bocce ball (a big deal in my family). Needless to say, everything was booked. No good... Plan B.
So now we're set to go on an indoor music venue downtown. The more I think about it, the more it excites me. It's going to be so Nashville - and with most of our guests coming in from out of town, it's a perfect way to acclimate them to this fabulous city.
Our colors are "spiced wine" and "apple green" - going very natural with wood accents, white candles, simple, elegant, lots of things with trees. Our save the dates are our version of hatch show prints. (This is getting ridiculous.)
I just had to share. And I know you don't want to know that there's another bride out there "doing the same thing" - I think we're both those Type-A need to be creative types. But I've now read every post on your blog - and I had to say it was a like a mirror.
Thanks for making my night. Thanks for encouraging me in this pursuit of staying in under the bottom line. It certainly isn't easy :)
